The United States NTSB publish report on the sinking of the fish tender EXITO

11 January 2018

The United States National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have published their report on the sinking of the fish tender EXITO in the Bering Sea.

The NTSB concluded “…the probable cause of the sinking of the motor vessel Exito was progressive flooding from an undetermined location. Contributing to the loss of life was the carriage of personnel on board, other than crewmembers, who were inadequately prepared and equipped for an emergency.”

The NTSB report can be read here.
